How much do you pay?
A lot—and significantly more than you'd receive from your local jeweller. The price is determined by purity (10k, 14k, etc.), weight (10 grams, 100 grams, etc.) and the spot price of gold.
What do you buy?
Yellow gold, white gold, rose gold and green gold in all karats and conditions (including gold coins). We also buy platinum.
Do you require a minimum or maximum number of guests at my party?
There's no maximum, but we do recommend a minimum of ten friends, family or coworkers at your get-together.
Do you have an invitation I can use?
Of course! We'll gladly provide you with our customizable email invitation.
What if my jewellery contains stones?
No problem. At the request of the seller, stones can be removed and returned at no charge.
What if I'm not sure if my gold is real?
There's only one way to find out! If we determine an item isn't real, we'll be happy to return it to you.
What if I attend a party, but decide not to sell my gold?
Please note you're under no obligation to sell.
What do you do with the gold?
The gold will be refined and recycled. The goal is to keep it in circulation in one form or another.
How long will my party last?
Depending on the number of guests you invite, the average gold party lasts between two and three hours.
How much can I make hosting a party?
Gold Party Canada pays hostesses $25 for every guest who sells gold* and $100 for food and drinks so they can entertain in style (no receipts necessary). If you have ten guests, that's $350.
When do my guests and I receive payment?
On the spot with no delay.
What if I have gold I want to sell, but I don't want to host or attend a party?
That's easy. We'd be happy to arrange a private consultation at your home or office.
